Mardi GrAutism III will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Westin Park Central—Dallas. This event is designed to honor the Mardi Gras tradition of great costumes and celebration with friends.  The evening will include plenty of entertainment, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, and all around merriment.  Elaborate Mardi Gras style costumes will be showcased with the opportunity for the guests to engage in the show.  Costumes for this year’s function will be centered on the theme “Cinema”, paying tribute to great moments on the silver screen, including:

 

Dr. Zhivago

Hello Dolly

Wizard of Oz

Alice in Wonderland

Captain Hook

Young Frankenstein

Ghostbusters

Saturday Night Fever

 

Attire:  Evening Wear -

Formal attire and a Mardi Gras mask are encouraged.

Tickets and Sponsorships:   

Costs for this event are generously underwritten by FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated, along with services support from corporate partners.  100% of the corporate sponsorships and ticket admissions will go directly to Autism Speaks, a Section 501(c)(3) organization benefitting those affected by autism spectrum disorder.

$125 VIP tickets:

VIP patron tickets include a special pre-function social hour and first choice on seat selection for the event.

6:00 to 7:00 PM—VIP social hour

7:00 PM—Doors to the ballroom open

7:30 PM—Entertainment begins

$50 General admission ticket:

7:00 PM—Doors to the ballroom open

7:30 PM—Entertainment begins

Corporate/individual sponsorships are also available at various levels.  These sponsors are admitted to the pre-function social hour, are assigned tables closest to the show with each table decorated in support of a particular costume in the presentation, and each attendee at the table is provided additional special Mardi Gras trinkets.  If you are interested in supporting us as a corporate or individual sponsor, please contact David McGivney at (972) 444-4935 for additional information.  Table sponsorships are offered at the following levels: 

Sponsorship Levels:

Platinum Sponsor      $10,000 and above

Gold Sponsor             $5,000—9,999

Silver Sponsor           $2,500—$4,999

Patron Sponsors          $500—$2,499

This fundraiser would not be possible without the generosity of companies and individuals who sponsor the event.  FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated provides the underwriting for the event, covering the bulk of the costs.  The Westin Park Central—Dallas provides significant assistance through use of its facilities and assistance with coordination of the event.  We also greatly appreciate the assistance provided by PSAV for the lighting and sound systems for the evening.  The assistance provided by these organization allows us to direct 100% of the proceeds from the corporate and individual sponsorships to Autism Speaks for use in their efforts to combat autism spectrum disorder.
